Weston Property & Casualty Insurance Company has been put into receivership for liquidation. Policies currently insured by Weston, including those in Texas, will be canceled effective September 7.
While Weston provided windstorm insurance for a number of property owners in Texas coastal counties, TWIA does not currently have any data on Weston policies located in TWIA’s coverage area. Additionally, Weston’s insolvency does not impact any TWIA policies.
